What I would do this weekend

If I could fastforward 5 years from now..,,,
I would be sleeping in this outdoor bed, reading " eat, pray and love" while my hubby makes his pankcakes for me.

I would spend the late afternoon with our daughter, Arisa in our vegitable garden. I know I will have a girl. I just know it..

I would take a susset walk along Kailua beach, since we will be living only three blocks from there.
Then, I will prep for the outdoor dinner for three.

Julie and Julia

I have been thinking of " julie and Julia" lately a lot. The two reasons: 1) I got a cutest apron in the world for my bd from a sister in law and a Julie and julia dvd from my hubby.
I can't want to make bruschetta with tomato and basil in the apron for the dinner party coming up.

My 30th Birthday in NY

" It is great to be in 30's. we are older and wiser with more experices and inner strengh, which makes us beautiful" quote by my sister in-law. I totally agree.
I am sure that my 30's will prove to be the most fruitful, eventful and happiest decades. I have about 20 days to celebrate my bd month with A. A, you better take me out to someplace nice.
It was nice to be back at A's parents' house after like 3 months. NYC feels always refreshing, even though I can't imagine living there permenently.
A's papa told me all the stories from Taiwan, and listening to his story made me want to go there sometime soon. I want to see A's oji-chan ( granpa in Japanese) while he is alive.
Oh well..
I just want to settle donw somewhere I can feel at home. Maybe Hawaii or... ..........Hawaii!

Summer 2010 in Oregon

Here is my first blog entry in English. I am not too cofortable, but it is for you, readers in America, or wherever you are.

I am back from Oregon ! After spending 10 days in Oregon with my family and friends, I am back in D.C. I cried like a disturbed child at the airport, saying good-bye to my mom. It always sucks to say " bye" to her. It never gets easier. Anyone, tell me a tip.
The last two weeks for us have been the rollercoaster for us here in D.C .We have been travelling without rest. K started a new job, and A busy with his reserve unit. But, we are finally winding down, I hope.
Work, Life, Balance
This is something I have been pondering a lot lately. I have a small family to take care, only me and A. And A does a lot around the house. Navy trained him good, lol. But, I am asking, do you have a perfect job and life? And, if you do, I want tips people!
I am a bit overwhelmed these days, balancing work and life. It will get much harder, I know once we get kids !!
Just wondering how to spend our limited remaining kids-free days.
(Just in case you are wondering , I am not pregnant, yet. Stop asking, people.)
